Adult Study & Fellowship Groups
This is a sampling of some of our study and fellowship groups for adults. If you would like to get involved, please contact the church office.
Adult Sunday School
The Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. We typically select a book to read and discuss during Sunday School. Our facilitator sends out a weekly study guide with insights and questions to ponder prior to each meeting. Everyone is welcome, please join us any time.
There is an ongoing book group that meets on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month, August to June, in a group member’s home. A different book is discussed each month. To join the group, contact the office. Click here for a list of the books.
Group Spiritual Direction
Led by Pastor Jeff, Spiritual Direction Groups spend time in silent prayer and discussion, focused on their relationship with God. Groups might be on-going or meet for a specific period of time. If you are interested in joining or starting a group, contact Pastor Jeff.
Second Saturday Documentary Series
Cosponsored with the San Jose Peace & Justice Center, we show a documentary on the second Saturday of the month each week (at 1:30) that will open your eyes to what's right under your nose. A discussion led by someone knowledgeable about the documentary’s topic follows each screening. Admission is free; donations accepted; held at the church. For more information, click here.
The purpose of the Women’s Fellowship is to provide the women of the church with fellowship and to continue to build relationships with each other and God. We have three Women's Fellowship groups. One meets on the third Monday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at the church (men are welcome at this group, too). One meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at a member's home. And one meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 36600 Niles Blvd, to tie lap robes that are given away to people in nursing and care facilities. Learn more about these groups here.
