From time to time our Children’s Sunday School classes or Youth Group sponsors a mission project, like providing livestock for a farmer in a developing country through Heifer International or collecting school supplies for kids living in the Fremont homeless shelter.
 
We are active in the Home Warming Rapid Rehousing program of Abode Services, helping a recently homeless family move into a home and access support services that will lead to self-sufficiency. Learn more …
 
Co-Sponsoring (with Tri-City Perspectives and the San Jose Peace and Justice Center) and hosting a monthly documentary about issues of justice issues. Read this month’s Our Newsletter for information about this month’s documentary.
 
Addressing social issues – like the environment and global warming, healthcare, and disaster preparedness – through education and action.
Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments Creating “ditty bags” for the clients of Shelter Against Violent Environments (SAVE), the community women’s shelter. [Sponsored by Women’s Fellowship]
 
Support a child through World VisionSupporting a child in El Salvador through World Vision by recycling aluminum cans.
 
Offering financial support to the wider church through our denominations (the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)); to local and international service organizations; and to ecumenical and interfaith groups.
 
Providing facilities for: Support groups, Boy Scouts, and other community groups.
