The Beatitudes are a favorite text from Scripture. Each line famously begins: “Blessed are the …” With all the turmoil in our country and the world it is easy to feel mournful, poor in spirit, but how are we to be peacemakers? How and where and with what will we fill our hunger and thirst for righteousness? How can we feel the blessing Jesus promises? How can we hear the “good news” today?
